* HYBRID POSITION, MUST LIVE IN JACKSONVILLE, NC OR SURROUNDING AREAS* 

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience in a risk management, safety, or HR consulting position either in private industry or Insurance company capacity or equivalent education and related training
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel in assigned territory including overnight as needed
  • Problem solving ability and negotiating skills working with senior level client staff
  • Above average interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team based environment
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with minimum supervision
A Day in the Life of a Consultant:

  • Deliver value added risk control services to assigned commercial clients in service territory or industry vertical
  • Impact retention of existing client base by increasing the value of the Client/SIA Group partnership
  • Assist in the acquisition of new business by participating in responses to request for broker service proposals, new business sales calls, and prospect meetings
  • Act as a first point of contact and resource for clients in regard to their risk management needs
  • Keep abreast of risk management and occupational safety and human resources consulting by pursuing continuing education opportunities
  • Develop, in a collaborative consulting approach, safety or HR business plans with clients and insurance carrier staff that impacts the client's ability to manage their safety and HR processes
  • Provide client training seminars on a regional and local basis directed at reducing the client's overall cost of risk
  • Uses data and analytics to help clients identify loss drivers
  • Understands and communicates all of SIA Group's internal risk management resources and promotes internally and externally
  • Regular participations in office sales meetings and frequent interaction/communication with production and marketing staff
