Are you ready to be part of our expanding agency?  G. R. Little Agency is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Personal Lines Account Manager.  In this position, you'll play a key role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, insurance carriers and fellow team members.
  
Responsibilities  
  • Provide exceptional service to existing clients related to updating policies, answering questions and resolving issues such as those related to billing, policy coverages and options.
  • Provide support as needed during claim time, both to the client and to any adjusters involved. 
  • Work with new and existing clients to understand their needs and exposures. Gather necessary data, research policy options and then present solutions to address their specific requirements.  
  • Regularly review existing insurance programs for clients, plus explore other coverage needs, evaluate replacement costs, round out accounts, and bind renewals. 
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, determining the cause of the issue, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the issue, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution. 
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, recording specifics of inquiries, comments, and actions taken in the agency management system. 
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and actively participating in formal and informal meetings as needed. 
Qualifications 
  • Preferred candidates will hold a North Carolina insurance license and have a minimum of two years personal lines insurance account management experience.  
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products and usages, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry operations to effectively manage, maintain, and write assigned clients and prospects. 
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Candidate must be comfortable with communication  by phone, email, video and text. 
  • Proficiency in computer use is a must, along with an enthusiastic and open attitude towards the implementation of technology. 
  • Possess a sense of urgency, strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and follow up effectively. 
  • Comfortable handling complex situations with clients and resolving issues without direct supervision.  
  • Candidate must have a personal accountability mindset, a desire to learn, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.
